A friend of mine posted this recipe for a Chai spice mix and I thought I should share it. Simply mix the spices together and add to your cup of tea OR put ingredients in a small pot and bring to a boil on your stove (be sure to stir so that the milk doesn’t burn and remove the pot after boiling to let the tea steep). And don’t forget to use your favorite mug!

8 tsp. Cardamom
8 tsp. Ginger

6 tsp. Cinnamon

4 tsp. Nutmeg

1-2 tsp. Ground Cloves

1/4-1/2 tsp. Black Pepper

Add a pinch of the spice mix (“Masala”) to a cup of tea (part milk/part water with black tea).
